In collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) recently released a top ten list of best available technologies in the U.S. commercial buildings sector. Showcasing technologies that represent the most value, innovation, reliability and availability, the top ten list features several technologies vetted and promoted by BetterBricks including advanced HVAC controls, window attachments (secondary glazing systems and low-e storm windows), and luminaire level lighting controls.

DOE and PNNL weighted a wide range of technologies and developed a structured methodology to help consumers, developers, designers and policy makers understand the many benefits of energy-saving products. These organizations hope that building owners and property managers consider these vetted, high-value technologies when upgrading their properties, and that manufacturers use the list to encourage wide-ranging adoption of high efficiency technologies in the commercial sector.
